SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Account Manager is responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts. Prospects and develops new customer relationships within key markets identified. Develops and increases relationships to drive increased market share and sales opportunities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Represent Jor-Mac Company professionally and ethically.
•Generate profitable revenue in key existing and new accounts by leveraging Jor-Mac’s unique engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
•Evaluates and targets potential customer opportunities in Target Markets. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to successfully generate revenue in Target Markets.
•Develops, fosters, and grows existing customer relationships. Obtain new business opportunities from existing customers by understanding the customers’ needs and solving problems in unique ways.
•Travel to existing and prospective customers to build relationships and determine new opportunities that fit our business targets.
•Leverage the Jor-Mac processes and capabilities to support growth objectives.
•Work with Inside Sales/Customer Service teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are met.
•Develop a thorough understanding of our capabilities and solutions that we can provide to new and existing customers.
•Translates customer needs/requirements to internal staff.
•Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client needs.
•Responds to customer’s requests for information (quotes, project information, and general information) within the time parameters given by the customer.
•Reviews blueprints, plans, and other customer documents used to develop and prepare cost estimates or projected changes in production.
•Develop and present accurate sales reports.
•Forecasts and tracks key account metrics.
•Collects and analyzes data to learn more about consumer behavior.
•Assists with customer inquiries as requested by Customer Service/Inside Sales.
•Plans and hosts customer visits to Jor-Mac facility.
•Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
•Adhere to all Jor-Mac and OSHA safety related work rules and procedures.
•Other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:

•Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of five (5) years of previous sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Solid knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•Must be willing to travel 50% of the time.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required to sit and talk or hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
