Brief Description
We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to drive sales of our cloud-based WaterMinds360 solution to water utilities.
This is a remote position; but candidates must live on the East Coast or Hybrid
The ideal candidate has experience in B2B SaaS sales, a strong understanding of the water industry, and a passion for technology that improves infrastructure and resource management. You will be responsible for prospecting, building relationships, and closing deals with municipal and private water utilities.
Key Responsibilities
•Identify and engage potential customers, including municipal and private water utilities.
•Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
•Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and discovery meetings to understand customer needs.
•Build strong relationships with utility leaders, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
•Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and solutions to customer pain points.
•Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
•Maintain accurate records in CRM software and provide regular sales forecasts.
•Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive solutions.
•Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Qualifications
•8+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial automation, SaaS or water utility technology.
•Strong understanding of water utility operations, SCADA, industrial automation, asset management, or related fields is a plus.
•Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
•Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
•Ability to manage a long sales cycle with multiple stakeholders.
•Comfortable with CRM tools, sales automation, and virtual presentation platforms.
•Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
