Job Overview
The Trumpf Press Brake Programmer/Operator is to accurately program and form metals parts. The ideal candidate will have Trumpf Press Brake programing experience. Bonus if you have manual and robotic welding experience.
Duties
•Programs Trumpf Press Brakes to produce customer’s parts.
•Set up and operate Trumpf press brake machines to bend and shape metal materials.
•Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate machining processes.
•Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise measurements during fabrication.
•Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
•Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machine issues and optimize production efficiency.
•Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and ensuring proper tooling is utilized.
•Operate additional machinery as needed, including CNC machines, plasma cutters, and welding equipment.
•Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
•Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Press Brake Operator.
•Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is advantageous.
•Experience in fabricating metal components using various tools and techniques including crane operation, tooling setup, quality inspection methods, and welding processes.
•Knowledge of CNC operations and programming is a plus.
•Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
