Job Overview
The Trumpf Press Brake Programmer/Operator is to accurately program and form metals parts. The ideal candidate will have Trumpf Press Brake programing experience. Bonus if you have manual and robotic welding experience.
Duties
•
Programs Trumpf Press Brakes to produce customer’s parts.
•
Set up and operate Trumpf press brake machines to bend and shape metal materials.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate machining processes.
•
Utilize tools such as micrometers and calipers for precise measurements during fabrication.
•
Conduct quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
•
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machine issues and optimize production efficiency.
•
Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and ensuring proper tooling is utilized.
•
Operate additional machinery as needed, including CNC machines, plasma cutters, and welding equipment.
•
Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
•
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Press Brake Operator.
•
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is advantageous.
•
Experience in fabricating metal components using various tools and techniques including crane operation, tooling setup, quality inspection methods, and welding processes.
•
Knowledge of CNC operations and programming is a plus.
•
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
