CNC Machinist Level II: We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This successful candidate will be responsible for Set-up and some operating and maintaining high-quality production of CNC machined products utilizing both Mill and Lathe. You should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and known machining processes, materials, tooling, and inspection tools.

- 1. Set-up Haas and Doosan CNC Mills and Lathes to produce exceptional quality parts eg..turning, milling, boring, tapping, threading, slotting, etc..
- 2. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in set-up of Haas or Doosan
- 3. Strong blueprint reading and able to interpret drawings, touch off tools, cut jaws, and set offsets as well as modify program.
- 4. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure the quality and accuracy of parts. eg..knowledge of basic shop math, geometry, and trigonometry for determining speeds/feeds, part reference points, and making necessary offsets.
- 5. Inspect finished parts to ensure the quality and accuracy of parts
- 6. Excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
- 7. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work hold .0005 tolerance
- 8. Maintain a lean, clean, and organized workspace.

Summary: 1st shift hours 07:20am - 4:20pm M-TH 7:20am to 1:20pm Friday

High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 2 years experience operating a CNC Mill or Lathe
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Strong math skills add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Geometry and Trigonometry
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
