Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated individuals for our Yard Work position, responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, and general yard upkeep. Ideal candidates will have a passion for working outdoors and possess skills in various aspects of yard work, including mechanical knowledge and tree care.
Responsibilities
•
Perform regular lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing to ensure healthy grass growth.
•
Conduct landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and weeding to enhance the aesthetic appeal of gardens and yards.
•
Maintain trees through trimming and care to promote growth and safety.
•
Assist with hardscape projects such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls to improve outdoor functionality.
•
Provide snow plowing services during winter months to ensure safe access to properties.
•
Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and maintain high-quality standards.
Requirements
•
Mechanical knowledge is preferred for operating various landscaping equipment.
•
Experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and garden upkeep is highly desirable.
•
Familiarity with tree care practices is a plus.
•
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
•
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.
•
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
•
A valid driver's license may be required for transporting equipment or traveling between job sites.
