Summary:

The Yard Supervisor safely and efficiently supports Weatherford fleet & equipment yard operations. This is position works at the Weatherford TX facility/yard.


Requirements:

Coordinates with logistics and operations teams to support timely dispatch and receipt of equipment and materials
Ensures compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements, including stormwater pollution prevention, hazardous material storage, and spill prevention.
Supports load securement inspections and DOT compliance for outbound shipments.
Manages staging areas for outgoing projects, ensuring materials are prepped, tagged, and ready for deployment.
Tracks and monitors consumables, ensuring adequate inventory levels for field and yard operations.
Leads periodic yard safety audits and initiates corrective actions.
Provides basic troubleshooting and minor repair support for yard equipment.
Operates a variety of equipment for offloading and onloading at the equipment yard.
Participates in root cause investigations for damage or safety incidents occurring in the yard.
Develops and maintains yard signage, markings, and traffic flow patterns to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
Collaborates with project teams to forecast and prioritize material handling and storage needs based on project schedules.
Keeps yard free of debris and trash.
Completes required inspections for all incoming fleet, existing and departing fleet at the Weatherford yard, as needed.
Follows OSHA safety and operating procedures for heavy and light equipment.
Operates Company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Backs up the equipment and logistics coordinator providing data entry support into IFS
Maintains an inventory list on share point to ensure materials are billed for when leaving the yard.

Leads by example to show that safety is the most important function, ensuring that all employees follow safe practices while working.

Adheres to and ensures all site team members understands standard operating procedures.
Leads and supports the site team in technical, quality and safety, utilizing system in place.

Manages yard laborers, ensuring their safe and efficient performance.
Participates in hiring and selection process to fill positions on the team.

Qualifications:

Highschool Diploma or GED required.
Technical, Vocational, or trad school preferred
2+ years' experience working in a construction environment, operating equipment, shipping, and general yard duties required.
1+ years’ supervisory/managerial experience, preferred.
Valid Driver’s License Required.
Ability to travel 5-15% of the time domestically required.
Intermediate knowledge in:
+ Operating multiple types of equipment including heavy earthmoving equipment, round terrain forklifts, skid steers, forklifts, scrapers, dozers, front-end loaders, trenchers + Mechanical aptitude with the ability to move equipment around the yard required + Safety Training

Anticipated base salary range: $52,000 - $65,000

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
