The Wireline Sales Representative will be responsible for growing Nine’s wireline market share in the Northeast Region. This position will require the person to self-motivated, accountable and enthusiastic about learning and promoting Nine Wireline. This person will be working closely with New and existing customers to maintain current work and build potential customers for future work.
- Primary role will be corporate sales, field sales will also be expected as needed. Visit to location will be a required so a Valid, unexpired, clean driver’s license is mandatory.
- Find and develop new Wireline business opportunities. This will include identifying new customers and calling on old or preexisting accounts.
- Work closely with existing customers to sustain a working schedule. This will require close coordination with internal Operations to ensure customer scheduling needs and service expectations are met.
- Build strong, advantageous relationships with customers in the field and the office.
- Maintain in-depth market knowledge of customers activity throughout your region including upcoming work, pricing and competition.
- Research industry competition to be able to provide frequent updates of current operations in region.
- Provide to Nine management with forecasted sales activity as well as potential sales opportunities and weekly customer contact.
- Act with urgency in responding to customer needs and meeting customer requirements
- Collaborate with multiple Nine Energy departments throughout the company including Operations and Sales departments in other business departments to identify cross functional sales opportunities
- Observe safety and security procedures and collaborate frequently with Operations and HSE to identify potentially unsafe conditions
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Extensive Oil & Gas background required
- Minimum 1 years experience in Wireline sales or similar, applicable industry sales
- Ability to interpret varieties of technical instructions with customers and operations
- Ability to proactively create new business relationships with minimal supervision
- Proven track record of growing business and increasing sales revenue in previous positions
