Wheel Loader with Forks Operator

Job Summary :

The Wheeled Loader Operator position is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of scrap items on to and off of customers, as well as Metalico’s, property. This position requires a high level of customer service, the ability to load and unload large and small trailers, locating and relocating stockpiles as needed, and performing other various activities associated with working at a scrap recycling facility. The operator is responsible for the daily service of their equipment, knowing and performing within the equipment’s limitations, and operating in a safe manner at all times. This position’s main function will be in the unloading and transporting of scrap vehicles in the yard but will be required to perform other duties as directed by management. Performs other tasks as assigned.
