About This Job

Job Summary: The Warehouse / Production Forklift Operator will primarily be responsible for supporting plant activities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

•

Responsible for pulling, staging, and loading customer orders.

•

Responsible for inspection of incoming material and goods to ensure conformance to quality specifications.

•

Ensure materials are readily pulled and staged to support production according to the defined schedule.

•

Ensure FIFO on all packaging related materials (painted parts, hardware, cartons, etc.).

•

Ensure that all materials are put away at the completion of jobs / activities.

•

Work closely with the Warehouse and Production Lead ensuring adherence to daily schedules.

•

Notify departmental leads immediately if any discrepancies and / or shortages are found.

•

Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.

•

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

•

Experience operating a forklift and capable of being forklift certified.

•

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

•

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

•

High school diploma or equivalent required

•

At least two years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

•

Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

•

Must be able to stand, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance.

•

Frequently lift and/or move 50lbs.

•

May occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.25 - $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
