About This Job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding/Fabrication Supervisor to lead our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our welding and fabrication projects are executed efficiently, adhering to high-quality standards and strict timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Supervise welding and fabrication teams, ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications and within schedule.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to guide project execution.
•
Assign tasks, monitor the progress of projects, and ensure quality control standards are consistently met.
•
Oversee the proper use of tools, equipment, and materials, maintaining safety and efficiency.
•
Train new hires and assist in the skills development of team members to enhance overall team capabilities.
•
Troubleshoot production issues and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
•
Coordinate with other departments, such as laser, bending, and saw, to ensure timely receipt of parts.
Requirements:
•
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
•
Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role, demonstrating leadership and management skills.
•
Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
•
Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting fabrication drawings.
•
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
•
OSHA safety certification and AWS certification preferred.
•
High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
