Primary Responsibilities
•Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project specifications
•Operate welding equipment to weld and fabricate metal components according to project requirements
•Perform various welding techniques for training
•Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and grind metal pieces
•Inspect welded joints for quality and accuracy, making any necessary repairs or adjustments
•Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
•Direct and manage workflow of production workers, production schedule
•Follow safety protocols and adhere to codes ad standards for welding processes
Skills
•Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles and techniques
•Proficient in operating press brake machines for bending metal components
•Experience with pipe threading, soldering, fabrication, building, and rigging
•Experience with girders, columns, trusses and Automated Submerged Arc Welding
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols accurately
•Knowledge of ductwork systems and familiarity with relevant codes and standards
