Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to interpret blueprints and work effectively with various power tools. This role involves working on construction sites, ensuring that all fabrication and welding tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
•
Interpret and read blueprints to understand project specifications and requirements.
•
Utilize power tools and equipment, including calipers and cranes, for precise measurements and assembly.
•
Perform stick welding and soldering on various materials, ensuring strong and durable joins.
•
Fabricate metal components according to project plans, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the process.
•
Work collaboratively on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
•
Conduct regular maintenance checks on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
•
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge in troubleshooting issues that may arise during fabrication processes.
•
Rig materials as needed for safe handling during the welding process.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques.
•
Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation, with attention to detail in execution.
•
Familiarity with power tools, calipers, cranes, and other fabrication equipment is essential.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
•
Experience working on construction sites is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times while performing duties.
