- Assemble metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to ensure strong and durable joints.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately fabricate parts.
- Adhere to industry codes and standards during all fabrication processes.
- Utilize hand tools, plasma cutting equipment, and other machinery effectively.
- Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality control.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols.
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with knowledge of various welding techniques.
- Familiarity with ductwork assembly is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with plasma cutting equipment is desirable.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
