Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience)
· Perform FCAW to join structural steel components.
· Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
· Prepare materials by cleaning, grinding, and chamfering surfaces.
· Follow all safety protocols and use required PPE.
· Set up, calibrate, and maintain welding equipment.
· Apply welding procedures, including preheat and post-weld treatments.
· Use hoists and cranes to position steel members.
· Use hand tools to set up and adjust equipment.

· Welding Proficiency – Skilled in various welding machines, power sources, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
· Safety Practices – Knowledge of welding safety procedures, fire prevention, ventilation, and equipment handling.
· Attention to Detail – Ensures weld precision, quality, and defect detection.
· Mechanical Aptitude – Proficient with tools and equipment used in welding operations.
· Blueprint Reading – Able to interpret shop drawings and apply weld specifications accurately.
· Physical Stamina – Capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting, confined space work, and long periods of standing.
· Tool Experience – Regular use of hand tools, power tools, welding gear, measuring tools, and lifting equipment.
· Able to handle physical workload and lift 50+ lbs.

- 5:45AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Friday (50 Hour Schedule)
