Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the capability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for building high-quality products that meet industry codes and standards.
Responsibilities
•
Perform welding tasks using various techniques including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) and Stick welding.
•
Utilize power tools, micrometers, and calipers for precise measurements and fabrication.
•
Execute plasma cutting operations to shape materials as required.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
•
Assemble components according to engineering specifications while ensuring structural integrity.
•
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures.
•
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues during the fabrication process.
•
Conduct quality inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with knowledge of industry codes and standards.
•
Proficiency in FCAW, Stick welding, plasma cutting, and machining techniques.
•
Familiarity with using power tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
•
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents effectively.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
•
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.17 - $26.32 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
