Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding processes, with the ability to work in various environments, including construction sites. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and utilizing a range of power tools and machinery to assemble and fabricate components according to specifications.
Duties
•
Fabricate metal components based on detailed blueprints and specifications.
•
Assemble parts using welding techniques, ensuring structural integrity and quality standards.
•
Utilize forklifts to transport materials safely around the work area.
•
Rig materials for lifting and positioning during the fabrication process.
•
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality standards.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.
•
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
•
Proficiency in operating power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively.
•
Familiarity with pipe threading, soldering, rigging, and assembly processes.
•
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during fabrication tasks.
•
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
