- Set-up and operate welding machines qualified to operate in accordance with SOPs for production jobs.
- Produce (stamp, fabricate, assemble, weld, finish, etc.) and inspect products using various machines and equipment qualified to operate in accordance with SOPs meeting or exceeding production and quality standards while minimizing scrap to customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all necessary documentation (SOP’s, safety equipment, deviations, surface finish, etc.) is available and correct in accordance to specified procedures within timeframe requirements to customer satisfaction. Pay keen attention to size, placement and condition of multiple items per plate.
- Exercise responsible judgment by escalating for resolution and/or correction, observed instances of defective parts, defective paint, and misalignment of components, assembly errors and even minor handling damage.
- Assembly rework, being extensive and consuming valuable resources, shall be avoided by containing defective components or ceasing assembly until quality and production departments supply resolution and direction.
