We are currently seeking a Testing Technician to join our team at our Columbus, TX testing facility. This position will support the Testing Manager in the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of BiSN tools.
Key Responsibilities:
•Assist in the mechanical assembly and testing of downhole tools.
•Acquire test data using thermocouples, pressure sensors, and other instrumentation.
•Follow detailed assembly instructions and engineering drawings accurately.
•Interpret general layout and tool plan drawings to perform tasks efficiently.
•Use hand tools and torque machines to complete mechanical operations.
•Plan and organize daily work to meet production timelines and scheduling requirements.
•Complete Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Hazard Identification Reports (HIRs) in accordance with company standards.
•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
•Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in safety (HSE) and 6S standards.
Requirements:
•Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
•Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
•Strong understanding and commitment to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
•Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
•Experience working with electrical systems (120V–480V).
•Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and resolve issues.
•Previous experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or oilfield environment.
•Experience conducting pressure testing procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
