We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in metal core and flux core welding and will be responsible for performing high-quality welding on various metals and alloys. The Welder will ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and project specifications. The location is in Georgetown, Ontario.
Day Shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Perform welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals to fabricate and repair components.
- Ensure welds are clean and visually appealing, maintaining high aesthetic and quality standards.
- Inspect completed welds for structural integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are properly calibrated and in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Document work completed and maintained accurate records of tasks performed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in welding preferred.
- Experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Proficiency in Welding techniques and processes.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and the properties of different metals.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship in welding work.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
- Experience operating overhead cranes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Must be able to read and write in English, and has effective verbal and listening communications skills.
- Legally allowed to work in Canada.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (25 kg) and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting and motion.
- Comfortable working in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling.
Fitted respirators are required to be worn - Candidates must be willing to be clean shaven to wear company provided half respirators, or must provide their own PAPR welding helmet.
