Warehouse, Yard & Field Support

Completing tasks as assigned within the operations department. Those tasks are expected to include work in the warehouse, tank yard, and in field service support with licensed technicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and are to be executed both personally and in concert with other department staff members. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

· Perform duties as assigned in helping maintain functioning warehouse and inventory management including loading and receiving, inventory accounting and distribution, supporting daily service technician vehicle restocking.

· Perform duties as assigned in maintaining propane tank yard inventory readiness for deployment including unloading tanks as they arrive and assisting propane service personnel in loading tanks each morning.

· Become certified with operation of yard associated power equipment including the yard tractor, power assisted tank dolly, propane tank evacuation equipment, emergency diesel operations, Autogas fill station, diesel fill station operations, and other yard maintenance machinery/equipment as assigned.

· Assist in delivering and recovering vehicles to and from scheduled maintenance as needed.

· Assist oil or propane service technicians as needed on tank setting, equipment installation, or equipment repair activities.

· Assist with monthly liquid inventory accounting in delivery vehicles and warehouse.

· Maintains receptiveness and competency in the use new technologies for the purpose of enhancing effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability of operations related assignments.

· Obtain a gas fitter trainee license which Proulx will assist in completing.

· Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School or GED minimum with additional related industry experience within on the job activity, related industry experience, or related trade school or other recognized independent training program.

· Must be able to navigate basic computer applications as assigned and trained as well as applications used in the execution of the position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Required to sit for prolonged periods of time.

- Extensive periods of time on phone.

- Lifting 50-75 lbs. with or without assistance.

- Climbing up to 8 ft. with ladder.

- Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling.

- Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions.

- OT as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
