Warehouse Worker and Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse specialist who will be mainly responsible for daily material pull and order processing. Experience with automatic band saw, metal shear and press brake .

Duties

- Cut customer orders to customer specifications using metal cutting equipment such as saws, hydraulic shear, etc.

- Safely operate forklift to move material around the Warehouse

- Receive, identify and stock incoming materials, as required

- Inventory maintenance & control

- Assist in proper maintenance of equipment (saws, forklift etc.) ensuring safety first for everyone

- Ensure Warehouse is clean, organized and safe at all times

- Perform other duties in the shop as needed

Skills

- Excellent customer relationship skills

- Ability to accurately use measuring instruments – i.e.: tape measure and dial calipers

- Physically able to frequently lift/move metal product weighing 50 -100 lbs.

- Motivated and enthusiastic team member

- High school diploma minimum

- Must be able to operate a forklift.

- Previous experience in Metal /steel industry is a plus

- Must have clean driving record and insurable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
