Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Operator (Shipper/Receiver) to support picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Picking & Shipping

- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.

- Create shipping labels and prepare orders for carrier pickup.

- Shrink wrap pallets and follow specific packing and labeling instructions.

- Enter shipment data accurately into the inventory/shipping system.

- Follow FIFO rotation to ensure older inventory ships first.

- Use downtime productively by supporting warehouse housekeeping and other assigned tasks.

- Collaborate with Purchasing to maintain adequate shipping supplies (boxes, tape, etc.).

Receiving & Inventory Management

- Receive and inspect incoming inventory; report discrepancies promptly.

- Put away raw materials in designated warehouse locations.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible warehouse layout.

Health & Safety

- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to support safety and efficiency.

- Follow all health and safety policies and procedures without exception.

- Complete daily forklift inspection sheets and report issues to management.

Qualifications

- Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to learn.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong computer skills; experience with inventory systems an asset.

- Valid forklift license is an asset.

- Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs.

- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

- Experience with order picking and computerized shipping systems (e.g., Ship Station) required.

- English language proficiency.

Benefits start after 3 months of employment.

Schedule & Availability

- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

- Day or evening shifts available

- Overtime and occasional weekend availability as required

- In-person role (no remote work)

Compensation

- $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (plus overtime pay)

Additional Information

- Must be able to reliably commute to Woodstock, ON or plan to relocate before starting.

Pay: $20.00-$222.00 per hour
