- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of parts within the warehouse management system.
- Coordinate logistics for the timely distribution of parts to various locations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize processes related to materials management and transportation planning.
- Assist in budgeting activities related to parts procurement and inventory control.
- Implement lean practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in operations.
- Monitor fleet management activities to ensure effective transportation solutions.
- Analyze profit loss statements to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers and internal teams regarding part availability and delivery schedules.
- Must be able to use quickbooks
- Proven experience in a distribution center or logistics environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is essential.
- Knowledge of budgeting, profit loss analysis, and materials management practices is a plus.
- Quickbooks experience is a must.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives and lean methodologies will be highly regarded.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for collaboration across teams.
