A home goods manufacturer is in need of a Warehouse Manager to support their growing business.
Responsibilities include:
•Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory with accuracy and efficiency.
•Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to minimize errors and improve accuracy.
•Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
•Ensure a safe, organized, and compliant work environment by enforcing safety protocols and maintaining equipment and facility standards.
•Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
•Coordinate logistics and scheduling with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
•Supervise maintenance and safe operation of warehouse equipment, including managing a fleet of forklifts.
•Manage shipping and receiving functions, including carrier scheduling, shipment documentation, and ensuring order accuracy.
•Collaborate with Customer Service to quickly and effectively resolve order or delivery issues.
•Build and maintain a cohesive, motivated warehouse team, ready to adapt to the fast-paced and dynamic needs of the operation.
Experience needed to be successful:
•At least 5 years of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center supporting manufacturing (automotive, food & beverage, home furnishings, medical device etc.)
•Prior experience supervising employees
•Strong organizational skills
•Previous experience using a forklift is preferred
