Warehouse Coordinator/Driver

Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services.

Job Description

As the Warehouse Coordinator/Driver, you will play a key role in keeping our operation running smoothly by:

- Overseeing all shipping and receiving of materials and supplies

- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and yard

- Receiving, inventorying, and labeling incoming materials and supplies in a timely fashion

- Creating and implementing processes to improve efficiency and organization

- Coordinating with operations teams and stakeholders to arrange pick-ups and deliveries

- Communicating effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal/external partners

- Transporting vehicles, equipment, and materials between operation sites and suppliers

- Assisting the Company’s mechanic in the shop as needed, supporting equipment, tools, and repairs

- Following and enforcing the Company’s safety rules and standards

- Maintaining proper care of Company equipment and tools

- Performing other duties as directed or assigned

Qualifications

- Valid Class A CDL and current medical card required

- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

- 2–3 years of warehouse operations or similar experience preferred

- 1–2 years of construction and/or electrical industry experience preferred

- 1–2 years of forklift experience preferred

- Basic mechanical aptitude or experience assisting with equipment maintenance/repairs preferred
