POSITION SUMMARY: Warehouse associates are responsible for a wide range of tasks to help ensure efficient overall operations of a company or business. Including, maintaining daily inventory logs, organizing and inspecting inventory and filling customer orders.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders or invoices.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain organized inventory and proper labeling of all materials.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified).
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, safe, and in compliance with company standards.
- Report damaged or missing items to supervisors immediately.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Traveling for deliveries and pickups will be required
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors, project teams, and customers
- Able to perform multiple, detail-oriented tasks with simultaneous deadlines
- Proficiency with equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is highly desirable
- A strong understanding of and adherence to safety regulations is essential to prevent accidents.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Forklift Certification
- Stand, walk, sit, handling/fingering, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, squat or kneel or bend
- Lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs
- Must wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
- - Steel-toed boots
- Hard hats with chin strap; chin strap must be worn at all times while in the warehouse
- Protective eyewear
- Hand protection
- Arm guards/sleeves
- Hearing protection if required by the hearing conservation program
