Warehouse Associate – Tucson, AZ

Starting rate $19.76/Hour

Hours per shift: Monday through Friday / 8 hours a day

Overtime Required

Western contractor to the mining industry is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, storing, and inventorying materials. Duties also include picking up and delivering parts.

Essential Functions:

- Pick and pack orders

- Data entry

- Receiving and stocking shelves

- Shipping items via common carriers

- Handle emergency parts requests

- Keep a clean and safe working environment

- Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

- Maintain a positive relationship with co-workers and customers by providing friendly service and by following up when deliveries are made

- Communicate any issues or concerns to management or supervisor

- Follow all safety policies and procedures

- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, etc.

- Follow all company policies and procedures.

- Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

·Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day, as well as stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

·Must not have a DUI within the past 5 years, no felonies, must be 21 years of age.

·Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with acceptable driving record.

·Must comply to a background check and drug screen, both are required.

·Warehouse experience preferred (1 year preferred).
