Job Overview We are looking for a hands-on Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain in Canada. You will oversee warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, with a strong focus on local fulfillment, retail distribution (e.g., BestBuy, Costco). This role is critical to ensuring cost-effective, on-time deliveries while maintaining seamless operations.
Develop and implement logistics strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency across warehousing, transportation, and inventory management. Utilize technology (e.g., ERP, TMS) to automate tracking, reporting, and process optimization.
Manage local drop-shipping processes and third-party logistics partnerships. Oversee end-to-end retail shipping workflows, including shipments to major retailers (e.g., BestBuy, Costco) , ensuring compliance with retailer-specific requirements.
Negotiate contracts with carriers, 3PL providers, and customs brokers. Resolve supply chain disruptions such as delays, customs issues, and inventory shortages. Monitor KPIs (OTIF, freight costs, inventory turnover) and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to Canadian logistics regulations (CBSA, transport safety standards). Maintain warehouse safety protocols and audit readiness to ensure compliance and operational safety.
- 5+ years in logistics/supply chain management, with hands-on experience in:
- Local fulfillment/Dropshiping and retail distribution (e.g. BestBuy, Costco).
- Warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, WMS)
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian customs, transport laws, and retail compliance.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (verbal/written).
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Certification in logistics.
- Experience with cross-border (US-Canada) logistics.
