Position Summary
PROENERGY is seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Application Support to lead and transform our enterprise application landscape across all divisions: AeroAdvantage, PowerFLX, WattBridge, our Manufacturing division, and Corporate functions. This critical leadership role will define and execute a unified strategy to ensure that our applications drive operational excellence, innovation, and business growth. Position Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
•Define, execute, and champion the enterprise-wide application support strategy aligned with PROENERGY's digital transformation and business objectives.
•Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing global application support organization, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
•Partner closely with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, PMO, Product Development, Manufacturing Operations, and Corporate teams to ensure cohesive technology enablement.
Application Portfolio Management
•Direct the lifecycle of mission-critical applications including ERP, MES, PLM, CRM, custom manufacturing and operational systems.
•Drive modernization efforts such as cloud migration, mobile enablement, automation, and AI/ML-driven enhancements.
•Oversee application upgrades, integrations, and new technology rollouts, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum business value.
Operational Excellence
•Establish and refine ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.
•Develop and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics to ensure optimal application performance and customer satisfaction.
•Lead root cause analysis and implement proactive support strategies to prevent recurrence of issues.
Stakeholder Engagement
•Act as the primary liaison between IT and all business divisions, translating complex needs into technology solutions that improve business outcomes.
•Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and managed service providers to deliver world-class support services.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (SOX, ISO, NIST) and uphold cybersecurity best practices across the application ecosystem.
•Manage department budgets, optimize resource allocation, and oversee vendor contracts and software licensing agreements.
Strategic Initiatives
•Spearhead the evolution of legacy ERP environments toward modern, cloud-first applications.
•Guide intellectual property development and contribute to strategic technology evaluations and investment planning.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
•20+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with 10+ years in senior leadership roles.
•Deep expertise managing large-scale enterprise application environments in industrial sectors such as Energy, Manufacturing, or Oil & Gas.
•Proven experience leading high-performance, geographically distributed teams (5+ employees, 10+ contractors).
•Mastery of ITIL frameworks and operational excellence standards; familiarity with service management platforms such as SolarWinds.
•Demonstrated success in vendor and contract negotiation, software licensing management, and vendor governance.
•Strong project and program management skills; able to balance simultaneous large-scale initiatives.
•Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and influencing executive stakeholders.
•US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

Desired Qualifications
•Master’s degree (MBA or related) preferred.
•Experience in a high-growth, private equity-backed or entrepreneurial environment.
•Hands-on leadership in cloud application ecosystems (AWS, Azure) and SaaS platforms.
•Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies such as IIoT, Smart Factory solutions, and digital twins.
•Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or similar process improvement and project management certifications.
