VP Renewable Project Development

The Vice President, Renewable Project Development is responsible for resource assignments and deliverables, as well as, supporting the President -Development in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a high level of internal and external exposure. The Vice President brings a track record of development and execution of successful competitive grid scale growth strategies including origination through to commercial operation of projects. The position will work collaboratively with technical support from Utility Operations, Strategic Supply Chain Management, Finance and Legal, amongst other corporate functions, on the development of projects and partnerships. Through these development activities the role is critical to NYPA fulfilling its underlying mission to advance a clean energy future and the economic growth and competitiveness of New York State.

Responsibilities

Ability to travel within NYS approximately 10%

The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $240,000-$265,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates’ relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
