This role will build and own Fluence’s enterprise-wide Program Management Office — driving execution excellence, cross-functional alignment, financial governance, and technical delivery across complex global initiatives. This leader will partner deeply with Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver innovation, operational readiness, and customer outcomes — with full accountability for program financial stewardship.
What you will do at Fluence:
Build & Lead the Enterprise PMO
Design and lead Fluence’s global Program Management Office (PMO) operating model — enabling execution across Product, Engineering, Technical Programs, and Supply Chain.
Establish governance frameworks, integrated planning processes, and enterprise-wide reporting mechanisms for program visibility and performance management.
Lead and develop a global community of Program Managers and Technical Program Managers (TPMs) embedded in key functions.
Financial Governance & Program Budget Ownership
Own financial governance, budgeting, and resource planning for enterprise programs — partnering with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain leadership to drive disciplined investment and spend management.
Enable robust program business cases, ROI analysis, and investment tracking for strategic initiatives.
Drive transparency and accountability for program spend across the portfolio.
Technical Program Management & Product Lifecycle Execution
Lead execution of complex technical programs — including new product introductions (NPI), platform development, software/digital initiatives, and integrated supply chain readiness, global manufacturing infrastructure, etc.
Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to enable execution excellence from concept to customer delivery.
Enterprise Portfolio Governance & Integrated Planning
Lead portfolio management processes — driving prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation across strategic programs.
Provide transparent, data-driven reporting on program health, financial performance, and delivery risk to Executive Leadership and the Board
Tools, Processes & Operating Model Excellence
Develop and deploy program management standards, tools, and best practices across Fluence.
Continuously improve program execution maturity and capability development.
 Talent Development & Leadership
Build and lead a world-class Program Management and Technical Program Management (TPM) team globally.
Foster a high-performance culture of execution, collaboration, and financial stewardship.
What you will bring to Fluence:
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in Program Management, PMO, Technical Program Management (TPM), or Product Operations within global technology, energy, or industrial companies.
Global business and relationship management experience to successfully deliver large scale projects that directly contribute to enterprise value.
Strategic planning acumen and experience to plan and deliver short- and long-term programs tied to financial results at enterprise level.

Expertise in managing complex technical programs — hardware, software, platform development, NPI.
Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership.
Demonstrated capability to lead through complex change globally.
Experience leading distributed global teams in a matrixed environment.
 Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related technical field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Relevant certifications (PgMP, PMP, Agile, SAFe) are a plus.
