Philly Photo & Philm is looking for a creative and self-motivated Creative Media Specialist who’s ready to hit the ground running. Your primary focus will be managing and operating our photo booths at events — from scheduling to on-site setup and guest interaction. You’ll also support our creative team in producing content across photo, video, and live streaming for sports and marketing initiatives.
This is the perfect role for someone young, ambitious, and organized who has a decent base of videography, photography, and tech skills and wants to keep leveling up in a high-energy, real-world environment.
Your basic duties will include
Photo Booth Operations:
•Oversee the full schedule of our photo booth events and photo booth staff
•Staff all photo booth jobs; manage setup, breakdown, and on-site execution
•Deliver an energetic, guest-friendly experience
•Handle equipment with care and troubleshoot on-site if needed
•Keep logs of events, track performance, and propose improvements
Photo & Video Production:
•Support the Marketing Director with short-form content creation (Reels, event videos, etc.)
•Assist with live sports streaming setups and operation
•Run secondary cameras or assist lead photographer on shoots
•Contribute creative ideas for content and coverage
Studio Operations:
•Communicate clearly and take initiative with little supervision
•Treat every assignment as a chance to grow your craft
•Stay organized, meet deadlines, and represent our brand with enthusiasm
Requirements:
•Prior experience running or working with photo booths, or strong technical aptitude
•Solid skills in photography and videography
•Confident, outgoing personality — you’re great with people and high-energy environments
•A go-getter mindset: you don’t wait to be told what to do
•Attention to detail and strong organizational habits
•Willingness to work a flexible, event-driven schedule (evenings/weekends required)
•Must have reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
•Experience with Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, or Photoshop
•Live streaming knowledge (e.g., OBS, camera/audio setups)
•Social media savvy — especially around video trends and engagement
Compensation:
•Following training, contractor will earn hourly rate as described
•Up to $22.50/hr based on skill, work ethic, reliability, etc.
