Utility Service Worker- Natural Gas

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to join our team in Lake Apopka. Under general direction of the Crew Leader, performs basic and semi-skilled technical work in the distribution and maintenance of the gas system with a high regard to safety.

Primary Duties:

- Assist crew leader in the field or where needed in distribution, maintenance, pipe fitting, pipe laying, performing leak surveys, line locating or monitoring the cathodic protection system.

- Assist in installation and repair of all types of gas mains, pipes and service lines.

- Assist with and complete equipment maintenance.

- Attend training sessions as assigned by supervisor.

- Perform related work as required and other such duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

Requires graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Prior natural gas or utility experience, welding experience and/or possession of CDL license considered a plus. Requires manual skill and the ability to follow instructions.

Pay: $18.38 - $29.40 per hour
