Job Description

A Traveling Technician is responsible for completing the following tasks:

- Service, calibrate, commission, troubleshoot and repair a variety of meters, pumps, registers, and other petroleum equipment

- Maintain required performance and maintenance records, and accurate DOT logs/paperwork

- Start up and service tanker truck terminal load rack equipment, ethanol skids, and other petroleum equipment

- Install and repair grounding and overfill prevention systems

- Warranty work, annual inspections, and emergency service work

- Equipment testing to check operation

- 90% overnight weekday travel

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- HS Graduate or equivalent; Tech/trade school training is a plus

- Outstanding driving record with respect to observing driving regulations and federal/state/local motor vehicle laws

- Required to have a valid State Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license with hazmat endorsement upon hire

- Experience with mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and an analytical aptitude
