The Service Technician will serve as an integral member of the Production team with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Field maintenance related work with GPU’s and production units
- Replacing piping, valves, and fittings
- Service and troubleshoot actuated chokes and conventional chokes
- Changing trim and seats as necessary
- Replacing choke/dump bodies as necessary
- Assist well operators in troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with gas processing equipment
- Flowback Iron Installs and Sand Trap Rig In’s
- Safety Strap (restraints) installation on temporary flow lines
- Work on freshwater injection skids and repair components as necessary
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues involving natural gas generators
- Comply with Seneca’s EHSQ policies, standards, and procedures while taking a proactive role in managing environmental, health, and safety for assigned areas of responsibility
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience Operating or servicing equipment
- Oil and Gas related field experience is preferred
- Experience and knowledge of local, state, and the National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA 70E etc. is preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s license (Commercial Driver’s License a plus)
- Ability to work in the field independently
- Able to lift minimum of 50lbs
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Working in a SIMOP situation
- Able to work around active flowing well
- Use of basic tools (wrenches, pipe threader, etc.)
- Problem solving skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of engines (oil changes, air filter replacements, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work
The successful candidate must be authorized to work in United States of America with a valid driver’s license with no restrictions to operate a company vehicle.
This position is a DOT-covered function and must comply with all applicable DOT requirements.
