•

20-40 hours per week; this is an ON-CALL, part time position, on an as-needed basis. Start and end time, and locations of jobs varies

•

Must be +18 yrs, have a valid drivers license and clean driving record to operate company's vehicles.

•

Must be comfortable driving a pick up truck, and towing trailers and arrow boards

•

Minimum of 1-2 years of unsupervised driving pick up trucks with attached trailers STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

•

Must be daptable to unexpected conditions (traffic, weather, accidents)

•

Must be able to pass background check including driving

•

Must follow ALL Traffic laws and emphasize defensive driving skills. Will be required to attend a defensive driving course

•

Must be able to lift (signs, traffic cones, etc...) and standing outdoors for periods of time.

•

Must be able to implement traffic control plans on job sites, which includes adhering to MUTCD regulations. General maintenance of all equipment and tools.

•

DOT, MUTCD, CDL and MOT certification is a PLUS. Expect to taking lead in traffic control operations (setting up and operating arrow board, Cones and signage)

•

Reliable transportation to and from the yard and/or office is a MUST.

Responsibilities

1. Safely transporting traffic control equipment to and from jobs

2. Performing weekly truck inventory of all equipment and monthly truck inspections

3. Reporting of ALL truck maintenance and issues which includes, but are not limited to: oil changes, tire changes and rotations. Etc.

4. Reporting ALL accidents involving the work vehicle

5. Keeping work vehicle clean and respectable for the company

90-day probationary period is required for ALL drivers new to the company

This job is 90% work & 10% driving
