Tool Room Specialist

Barker Wire Products, a division of Angola Wire Products, Inc., is a Midwest manufacturer in the commercial display industry.

We manufacture a wide variety of items from wire racks, POP displays, wire baskets, wire grids and wire shelves. Wire, mesh and tube benches along with egg baskets are a few of the specialty items we produce.

Qualifications:

- Ability to fabricate a variety of tooling and fixtures required for production

- Capable of reading and interpreting blueprints

- Ability to use basic and precision measuring tools

- Knowledge and experience with hand and machine tools (lathe, mill, band saw)

- Experience with welding (mig, tig, resistance)

- Good math comprehension

- Capable of multitasking and working with others

- Must have good Problem solving skills

- Must have a Can-Do point of view

Responsibilities:

- Building jigs and fixtures

- Building prototype parts

- Qualifying first article parts in production

- Assisting setup and Maintenance personnel

- Perform various tasks as required
