Tool Technician II

SUMMARY

The Tool Technician II is responsible for maintaining and providing the appropriate tooling and supplies required for the field service organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for providing the proper tooling to the field service organization.

- Assure proper inventory and refurbishment of tool kits.

- Assure proper shipping and receiving of tool kits and tooling.

- Assure 24-hour emergency call-out for tooling issues.

- Perform other such duties as may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION

- Education and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or at least six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

- Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages,

- area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
