Tool and Die Technician

The Tool and Die Technician is an experienced Machinist with experience making cutting and machine tools, jigs and Dies. The Technician also ensures all stamping tools are properly maintained and ready to run to support scheduled production. Assist production by troubleshooting tools and assess broken tools and assist in repairs.

Qualified candidate performs preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and emergent maintenance on all production-related equipment. 3 years prior experience in manufacturing and tool and die setting. Must be able to read blue prints and schematic and tool design drawings. Must have proficiency in tool design and repair in a metal stamping environment. Prefer general experience operating lathes, milling machines, grinders, saws and other related tool room equipment. Computer literacy is a plus. Dependability, reliability and committed work ethic are required.
