About the Opportunity

This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FEU].

This position will be on-site and can be at any FirstEnergy Location in NJ, Western PA, WV, and MD.

The individual(s) in this position will have the responsibility of coordinating and overseeing contracted testing and technical service interests for Transmission and Distribution substation projects, as well as special assignments relating to the safety and reliability of other substation activities in partnership with Utility Operations, Construction & Design Services, and Transmission & Substation Services.

Responsibilities include:

Pursuing the redline process so that as-built drawings are accurate and returned within required timeframe

Performing constructability reviews . Reviewing the conceptual scope with the entire project team and the project manager . Conducting preliminary site reviews and gathering local expertise feedback on various aspects of the project

An employee hired as the Testing Site Coordinator III level will be expected to perform all the above responsibilities with more proficiency, and in a more independent manner. Further, the Testing Site Coordinator IV level employee will be assigned additional responsibilities related to those above.

Qualifications for the Testing Site Coordinator include:

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to aid in the resolution of complex issues .
