Job Summary/Purpose
The Tester and Quality Assurance Specialist will be part of the Digital Operations team. This person will be responsible for conducting automated and manual tests for Entergy’s digital channels to ensure that the solutions created fit the intended purpose ahead of implementation.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and document testing cases for the Digital Channels to meet the sprint and release timelines, leveraging Jira
- Ensure technical solutions meet requirements, quality standards, process, and system compliance
- Document test results, and review results with the Digital Team and IT. Ensure issues are properly resolved ahead of product releases by working cross-functionally with a sense of urgency as needed
- Challenge the status quo as needed to ensure the product team is designing new solutions in line with the vision and mission for each channel
- Assist the Digital Operations team as needed with contact center incidents and/or storm response
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the positionBachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Experience Required Of The Position
2-4 years of demonstrated track record of relevant technology delivery.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required Of The Position
- Good Communicator
- Applied knowledge of the agile methodology for project delivery
- Ability to follow process flows
- Comfortable with escalating issues and delivering under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
