Travel within sales territory (Pennsylvania, New England, Maryland or Virginia) to develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales. Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs. Sales territory will be assigned depending on your location.
Base salary: $100K-$150K with monthly commission, use of company car and phone.
Work under general supervision with lots of latitude in decision making is required. Position reports to Regional Sales Manager. A certain degree of creativity is required. May from time-to-time lead and train new sales representatives or help less experienced sales representatives close an important sale. Developing their territory with new sales leads ensuring that new potential customers are contacted. Converts new potential customers into clients contacting them and showing how Coilplus products can meet their needs. Overcomes obstacles and objections ensuring continuous territorial growth. Effectively forecasts book of business both for sales forecasts as well as forecasting inventory purchases. Conducts on site sales presentations with significant potential and significant current customers with the goal to identify new ways to use Coilplus current products in new ways for existing customers or open new markets with potential customers who could generate a large book of business. Develops professional interactions with customers at multiple levels throughout their organizations and builds in-depth knowledge of their needs and how our products can satisfy them. Clarifies customer requirements while developing individual knowledge of products and processing capabilities. Grows existing customer business by introducing new products to existing and new customers. Maintains focus on those sales that provide the most gross profit for the company. Works with inventory/ material management on specific needs for customers. Educates customers by providing market relevant information to help them with their business decisions. Maintains quality service by adhering to policies procedures and standards. Contributes to the sales team’s effort by meeting or exceeding established sales inventory management and profit goals. Continues to develop sales skills and product knowledge through education and training as required. Maintain a clean work environment.
