SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF ROLE:

The maintenance technician is responsible for performing routine mine site maintenance and unscheduled maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety This position will maintain, diagnose, and repair company assets, maintain repairs, order, documentation, and assist other maintenance personnel when required.

Role accountabilities:

•

Ability to troubleshoot and repair on all pumps, along with basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

•

Basic fabrication skills including welding and cutting, brazing, arc welding and air arc.

•

Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size and type.

•

Ability to perform general labor/construction to include but not limited to, cleaning and preparing sites for projects (drill pads), prepare site for concrete pours, fencing, framing.

•

Basic knowledge working on the moving equipment (filters, coolants, minor repairs, tires).

•

Perform general office maintenance (e.g. assemble/dismantle furniture, filter change out).

•

Ability to operator or willing to train on Dozer, Water Truck, Backhoe, Loader or other construction/mining equipment.

•

Perform routine maintenance, such as inspections, checking fluid levels, replacing filters or doing other preventative maintenance action.

Leadership & Management Competencies:

•

Works effectively with the Nevada Projects Team.

•

Clearly convey information to team members, supervisors and contractors.

•

Adjust to changing priorities, responds well to emergencies, and helps guide others as needed.

Technical Competencies:

•

Skilled in identifying mechanical using schematics and/or manuals to perform effective and timely repairs, a plus.

•

Ability to maintain accurate records, update logs, and other documentation as requested.

Legal Requirements:

•

This role requires a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle to and from the project site.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

•

Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in general construction, equipment operations, experience in mining industry a plus.

•

Basic mechanical and mathematical aptitude.

REQUIRED GENERAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

•

Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This is a full-time, hourly (non-exempt) position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday or Tuesday – Friday (10hr shift). Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. As per operational requirements.

COMPENSATION:

Base Salary Range $32-$36/hour
