The basic function of this position is to ensure smooth operations through management of Preventative Maintenance programs, repair activities, industrial engineering, and building maintenance. May supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, also fabricating metal and plastic parts to be used in production cells.
· Lead by example and perform in a manner that ensures high morale and high performance. Inspire other employees to support company vision, mission, strategies (main things), goals and guiding principles
· Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed to support customer requirements.
· Daily tasks will include electrical, electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and auxillary equipment.
· Create capitol request documents, work orders, requisitions, documents and inventory of spare parts.
· Works with production scheduling to determine equipment PM and repair priorities.
· Record and document Environmental standards and records.
· Evaluates work orders in ERP system to assist in prioritizing team members work assignments based on yours and team member’s ability. Also, responsible to evaluate work orders daily, to ensure timely closure of completed work orders and review of any work orders that remain open.
· Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
· Assists with annual Lock Out Tag Out training.
· Maintains paperwork on hazardous materials (oil disposal).
· Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
