Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
•Ensure custodial duties are performed to established standards and assist team members as needed with cleaning tasks.
•Performs custodial duties as needed to cover staff vacancies.
•Conduct routine housekeeping inspections across all Authority locations to assess cleanliness and upkeep. Report findings and recommend improvements to enhance service quality.
•Responsible for the purchasing, pickup, and delivery of all housekeeping supplies across all designated Authority properties.
•Update the Works system for all P-Card transactions. Maintain accurate records, receipts, and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
•Coordinate and perform setup and breakdown of Authority events, including trainings, meetings, roundtables, board sessions, and special functions across various locations.
•Assist the department supervisor in developing staff schedules to ensure proper coverage at all facilities.
•Ensure all custodial operations adhere to GRDA Workplace Standards and safety protocols.
•Maintain detailed and up-to-date records, including cleaning schedules, staff assignments, supply inventories, and custodial activities.
•Prepare and submit reports on custodial operations, including incident reports, safety concerns, maintenance needs, and general updates.
•Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualities:
•Strong leadership and team management abilities.
•Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•Knowledge of various cleaning methods and materials used in custodial work.
•Knowledge of cleaning equipment, and proper procedures for disposing of waste and chemical product safety.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
•Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Basic knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
Education, Training, Experience:
•High school diploma or equivalent required.
•Minimum of 3 years in custodial services, with at least 1 year in a lead role.
Certificates, Registrations, Licenses:
•Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, or the ability to convert within 30 days for those with an out of state driver’s license that are an Oklahoma resident.
Physical/Mental Requirements & Working Conditions:
•Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery.
•The work environment may include exposure to cleaning chemicals and various environmental conditions.
•Must be able to operate motor vehicle equipment safely and efficiently to transport items or personnel from one location to another.
•Work is performed in the office with some travel to onsite locations and other Grand River Dam locations, as needed.
•Business-related travel may be required for training purposes and miscellaneous meetings.
