Transmission Engineering Station Design group is responsible for the engineering designs and drawings necessary for Distribution Substations and Transmission Switching Stations construction. Transmission Engineering Station Design group is part of the Oncor Transmission Business Unit under the Engineering and Operations Branch. Using the planning story and one-line diagram as a design starting point, the station design group takes ownership of the project. The station design group coordinates with numerous internal organizations such as: local district operations, system protection, land and ROW group, construction, local customer operations and TPMO.
