Kospo Niles, LLC (KOSPO Niles) is a major stakeholder in a 1,085 MW combined cycle power plant in Niles, MI, valued at $1.2 billion. We oversee operations and maintenance (O&M) in collaboration with our parent company in South Korea.

Position Overview

KOSPO Niles is seeking a Technical Assistant to support our technical managers. This role is ideal for those interested in power plant O&M and offers valuable industry insights.

Job Responsibilities

- Organize and minute meetings(Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Irregularly) as requested by managers.

- Prepare and edit meeting minutes, presentations, and reports.

- Assist managers with communication among O&M teams and OEMs (e.g., GE).

- Conduct on-site visits to assess plant operations as directed.

- Perform additional tasks assigned by the CEO and managers.

Skills and Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma or higher; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.

- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills.

- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of basic plant operation concepts preferred.

- Organizational Skills: Strong analytical and writing skills; adaptable to fast-paced environments.

- Work Ethic: Strong commitment and flexibility.

Additional Preferred Skills

- Experience in industrial engineering and project management.

Job Details

- Type: Full-time (Renewable annually).

- Location: In-person.

Benefits

- Salary: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 annually (including fringe benefits) with up to 10% bonus potential.
