We are seeking a Team Lead - Fulfillment to support our operations in North Bay, Ontario. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Team Lead - Fulfillment assists in executing daily workflow demands to achieve outbound shipment deadlines in a safe and efficient manner, following all Company policies and procedures. In addition to daily assigned functions within the operation, the Team Lead - Fulfillment assists with the delegation of duties in the Fulfillment area to achieve objectives as communicated by the Warehouse Supervisor; ensures productivity and quality targets are achieved; and provides training and support to team members.
Responsibilities:
•Direct and delegate the activities of Fulfillment team members to ensure production metrics and customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met in accordance with stated operations objectives.
•Oversee the productivity workflow of Fulfillment team members and provide training on work procedures.
•Abide by and enforce Company policies regarding work and quality procedures; security; and health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Lead by example when conducting all work tasks: demonstrate effective communication, professionalism, and provide guidance on appropriate workplace behaviours.
•Pack items for shipping and distribution in adherence to delivery schedule requirements.
•Ensure that Quality Control passes are completed prior to shipment.
Disperse crew picks and ship for multiple contracts for same client to appropriate warehouse locations.
•Support accurate reporting: update and maintain the inventory part orders spreadsheet for applicable warehouse locations, assist in maintaining the daily report on missed PTAT from prior day.
•Report any irregularities, non-conformances, missed shipments, and restricted video card shipments to the Warehouse Supervisor.
•Inform Management of problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials, and labour.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies through continuous improvement of processes and systems.
•Maintain confidentiality of all Customer, Supplier, and Company information.
•Ensure to work with/use security measures, procedures, and devices as required.
•Participate in training as required and apply knowledge gained through training on the job.
Qualifications:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•1-2 years of experience working hands-on in a warehouse setting.
•Computer literacy including MS Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook applications.
•Strong attention to detail.
•Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, verbal and written communication skills.
•Order picking, data entry, inventory management, and forklift/order picker experience is preferred.
