Who We Are Looking For
A positive and experienced leader looking for a long-term position that enjoys physical work, guiding staff, and who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty. The success candidate will also enjoy taking on new duties as the role progresses.
The Role
•Full-time work (consistent 40 hours per week) must be able to work weekends.
•Helping to lead a team of amazing coworkers
•Provide excellent customer service to interesting people of all backgrounds
•Provide accurate payment to customers
•Cleaning, tidying, and other duties as assigned
•This can be a more physical position that requires some strength and lots of stamina.
Work Conditions
•Manual dexterity required (you’ll need to be able to pick up bottles, boxes, electronics, et cetera);
•Lifting up to 10 lbs on a constant basis and maneuvering up to 60 lbs occasionally (fit time, fun time!);
•Work is performed inside of the warehouse and, on occasion, outside of the warehouse in all elements; and
•This position will be exposed to other elements such as noise, dust and odours.
Requirements
•Previous supervisory/team leading experience is required;
•Previous cashier and customer service experience is an asset;
•Be physically able to stand for entire shift, have good attention to detail, be able to lift 10 pounds on a regular basis and be able to lift 60lbs on occasion;
•Must be flexible to cover shifts and to work overtime on occasion;
•Weekend work is required as Saturday and Sunday are our busiest days; and
•As this position takes place in a warehouse environment, safety toed shoes are a necessity within seven days of the start of employment.
