Position Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the company’s staffing needs. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties throughout the facility as assigned and or as necessary.
Duties/Responsibilities:
•Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs in accordance with the annual operating budget.
•Manage the full-cycle recruiting process to ensure a seamless candidate experience from sourcing, offer negotiation, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
•Build a candidate pipeline for future positions through specialized programs and targeted sourcing channels.
•Ensure a seamless candidate experience by managing the new hire processes through start date according to the New Hire Checklist.
•Enter new hires into ADP.
•Manage the internal communication process for new hires & terminations.
•Maintain and execute all termination processes according to the Termination Checklist.
•Maintain and distribute company Org Charts.
•Support a performance-based culture, both team and individual, to assure continuous improvement and alignment with enterprise vision, mission, and objectives.
•Ensure regulatory compliance across a range of federal, state, and local agencies.
•Ensure that all quality and safety standards, specifications and policies are met, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with the team to drive efficiencies.
•Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance.
•Support a culture of high performance and accountability in employee and site safety as well as other aspects of the business.
Knowledge & Skills required:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field (e.g. Management, Business Administration,) or 3+ years of proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources or related areas that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the job.
•Proficiency in applicant tracking systems(ATS), and other sourcing tools.
•Experience with Greenhouse and ADP is preferred.
•Experience supporting construction and field employee groups, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
•Commitment to “open door” and comfort with production floor presence and contact with all field employees.
•Demonstrated ability to coach managers and supervisors to use company practices for maximum effectiveness.
•Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation.
•Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities.
